Anyway, we have had 2 terrible experiences with this location that I thought I'd share. The first involved some closet doors we ordered. Home Depot insists everything is custom that you order since they stock so very little of one thing. As a result, they would let us return a door that was the wrong size. The custom door guy who is probably the scariest biggest jerk I have ever dealt with in retail said there were no options to return and finally I insisted that there must be some option and he finally relented to a re- stocking fee after talking to the wizard behind the curtain ( the manager who never appears face to face). My wife had a fight or flight response to this guy he was such an ass. Won't post his name but never go to the door department. Ever. The next experience came as a result of my ill- advised decision to buy ALL of my kitchen appliances at Home Depot. We picked Kitchen Aid and are kind of regretting that already, but HD dropped the ball as usual. We ordered the appliances early to build custom cabinets around them. After about 2 months we finally plug the brand new fridge in and, it doesn't get cold. Call HD and of corse it's not their problem. Never mind the insane amount of money I spent. Waiting now to see what they do and will update this post accordingly. This Home Depot (HD) was already a fairly large store, but became massive after taking over an old neighboring Ralph's grocery store, demolishing it, and expanding. We searched for the better part of an hour for the sizes we needed in wood boards before I finally stopped and asked a worker (who was in a large group of fellow coworkers) if we could get some help. Completely ruined out Friday evening trying to get materials for a weekend project! I recently used the shop online/pick up in store option and it's amazing! As a female, I get lost inside Home Depot and it can stress me out trying to find things I need. Let's be honest, I mostly just come here for things to help with craft projects, or basic home supplies, nothing major. But I was able to go online, search for all the items I needed, added them to the cart and then by the time I got to the store they are at the front desk waiting for you. I didn't realize that when you select this option you have to give them a 2 hour window to have your items ready so when I got there after only an hour the order was not ready. The lady at the customer service desk was very friendly and had them complete my order right away. Thank you! They helped me with all of my caulking needs! I was always headed towards the wrong aisle and they helped show me what I was looking for! If I could give O stars I would . I ordered all my appliances for a full home remodel from this Home Depot location, during a Memorial Day sale ( in May); washer , dryer,fridge, dishwasher , stove. We finished our remodel in August. I plugged the fridge in and it was completely dead., didn't work , Home Depot would not let me return this appliance. So they are selling broken/not working appliances and they are non- returnable no exceptions . So now I'm stuck with a broken kitchen Aid, $2. I must go through the manufacturer for repairs . So not only did they sell me a dead appliance but now they want me to go thru the trouble of having it fixed. Thanks HD!! I rented a power washer this morning and was assisted by Kelly. I wish i could remember his name, oh weel. Thanks again ! I don't own a home but something about Home Depot always makes me happy. I can't believe what just happend. I went to this location on August 2. I asked for an assistance since I'll be needing 4. One guy told me that he will send someone to bring down the boxes since it's only 1. I waited and waited for almost 3. I asked another guy (Dave) since it's taking so long. He's very friendly, outgoing and really helpful. Since he doesn't have anyone to help him even though he's almost off the clock he still assisted me. He wrote a ticket that he will priced all the boxes on the floor at $2. I said ok, went to the cashier and OMG!!!!!!!!!! The cashier with a long curly hair must been having a bad day, rude and ridiculously unfriendly. She said that I can't do that???? I didn't ask for this and Dave offered this to me I just need to pay & go. She's been so unhelpful and the worst part is when she called the manager Mark - -- worthless & doesn't know what the hell hes doing and keeps on running around and instead of fixing the situation he keeps on arguing with me that he can't do anything about it. When I ask to bring down the boxes so I can just pay, nobody is available??????????????? He said he can't do that since it's more than $1. I said what????? The cashier, manager and another manager keeps on chit chatting in front of me saying that he can't find the guy who issue the ticket and I waited till 3: 4. Luckily I found Dave and he was shock that I'm still there waiting to pay. You guys need to train your managers and they're definitely clueless on how to solve simple and easy situation and definitely doesn't know how to treat customers right. Every single people that heard me saying felt really bad. Awful experience and definitely not going back to this location. Both managers doesn't know what to do. DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, PURCHASE APPLIANCES AT THIS STORE. We paid for installation, they took our appliances away, then refused to install the new appliances on a technicality. Then, after installing them ourselves, we discover that they've delivered what appears to be a refurbished machine. I spent 1: 1. 2 minutes on the phone only to learn that a) they will not refund the installation money unless I call back in 3 days and b) refuse to replace the defective dryer, even though it's been less than one business day since we purchased it. MAJOR RIP OFF AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I REPEAT: DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, PURCHASE APPLIANCES AT THIS STORE. Maggie the pug. I can finally run my errands and pick up my furniture pieces! Just a little tip for truck renters, if you are looking to rent a truck from them you must have a current valid proof of vehicle insurance. I love Home Depot, but lately they've really been busting our balls. He is not just a bad reputation strain on the home Depot franchise, but unhappy person in general with luck of any professional skills or simple respect to customers who shop here. I had to talk to his supervisor Jason in order to calm his rage down. It wasn't too packed in this Sunday, and yes- we did get a little lost looking for a few things, but the employees knew exactly which way to point us. Home Depot always has what you need- and always reminds me of all the skills I don't possess. I'd love to leave - 3 stars but I'm forced to leave 1 star, I called for window installation. The guy complained the whole time and wouldn't even leave a written estimate! Joke! Won't be using you ever again.
